Novatek applies to delist GDRs from London Stock Exchange

MOSCOW, Feb 7 (PRIME) -- Russian gas company Novatek has sent an application to the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to delist the global depositary receipts (GDR) from the London Stock Exchange (LSE), the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

"In accordance with Listing Rule 5.2.8, 7 March 2023 will be the last day of listing for the GDRs on the LSE. Therefore, the LSE Listing Cancellation becomes effective at 8.00 a.m. (GMT) on 8 March 2023," the company said.

After delisting, the shares will be traded on the Moscow Exchange.
